A large number of applicants around the world are dreaming about being acknowledged into one of the Canadian colleges or universities and get the study permit. Studying in Canada is an interesting and rewarding experience for several international students. You need to decide what to study. Entry dates, application deadlines, student visa processing times and English language requirements should also be considered.
Apart from BA, MBA, PhD, certificate and diploma programs, Canadian colleges and universities have a range of diploma, graduate certificates and certificate programs. The most intakes are in September annually, some colleges and universities have a smaller intake in January or summer term.
If the duration of course is less than 6 months, you’ll only need a visitor visa to come to Canada (some conditions apply). But, if you aim to study for more than 6 months then you’ll need to apply for a student visa. To apply for student visa, you will need to get an acceptance letter from an educational institution. There are a number of universities and colleges in Canada, however the choice of your institution should be approved by a provincial or territorial government to host international students.
