Caregiver

As a caregiver, you have an option to come to Canada to become a permanent resident or work temporarily. Immigrate by providing care for children, the elderly, those with preventive needs or work as a live in caregiver.

In order to apply for the Caregiver Visa Program, you will need a:

Written contract with your future employer, signed by you and your employer
Successful completion of the equivalent of a Canadian Secondary School Education
Six months of training or minimum one year of full time paid work experience as a caregiver (six months with one employer) in the past three years
References or Recommendations from former employers
Work permit before you enter Canada
Positive Labor Market Opinion
